    du strassenkopf!

  2. Squashed says:

    lol.

All the germans words I know are swearwords.

  3. GiL says:

i can only say three phrases that a german backpacking buddy taught me:

ich spreche einige deutsch (which is a lie)
fick dich! (which he used to tell me all the time – he was quite neurotic come to think of it)
    and
jetzt ist er abgefuckt (every time i cooked)

    I miss some kinky tunes…

  5. Ifuckmountains says:

escapista is right, some kinky tunes wouldn’t hurt at all :p.
Either way the music on this post and your blog in general is very good. Keep up and thanks. it always brings a smile to my face visiting mdm.
    Donna Regina is really cool.

  6. like a eagle says:

Ich habe einen großen Kopf wie eine Kartoffel.

    That’s all I know…

  7. Moka says:

My german lexic is even poorer:
Wunderbar! ah yes and some of the lyrics from autobahn from kraftwerk (doesn’t count because I’m not really sure of it’s meaning, but apparently he’s singing about driving on the autobahn while feeling the sunshine…): Wir fahr’n fahr’n fahr’n auf der autobahn.

(that actually means: great music, thank you). Greetings from Germany.
And of course an original bonus- swearword: Pappnase (its not very rude by the way)
    keep up the good work.

    p.s.:
you could check out the sound of “miss kittin (& the hacker)” if you don’t know it already. it should fit into this musical context very well.

    best wishes

The song makes its imprint
in the air, making itself felt,
a felt world. Here, there,
the stunned silence

of knowing I will not remember
what I heard;

futures that will never happen,
a fluidity we cannot achieve
except as a child
creating possibility.

This is the untranslatable song
hidden in the earth.
