    the boc track is from the warp records compilation “we are reasonable people” released just before the millenium / // // / … i’d seen mark bell dj at a rave in 96 or 97, and he was passing out slipmats and stickers with the “we are resonable people” slogan on it… good times… incidentaly, the brilliant autechre track from the same comp was playing on repeat as my lady and i stretched out on the hood of our saturn in the nevada desert outside of the famed/infamous area 51 … beneath a hundred million scrillion countless galaxies (stargazing in the desert is a quieting experience if ever there was one) the jumbled sound track to our ufo watching filled the chilly evening
    air; what could be more approapriate for the occassion then the otherness of ae?
    (new post ideas brewing….)

The song makes its imprint
in the air, making itself felt,
a felt world. Here, there,
the stunned silence

of knowing I will not remember
what I heard;

futures that will never happen,
a fluidity we cannot achieve
except as a child
creating possibility.

This is the untranslatable song
hidden in the earth.
