Lou Reed effectively plays guitar and shares composition credits on 3 of the tracks with John Cale. The Credits for the album are: Jackson Browne (guitar), Lou Reed (guitar), Sterling Morrison (guitar/bass), and John Cale (piano/bass/viola).
