    You should invest on speakers instead. one of those bookshelf speakers would be that much more romantic than headphone.

    cleaning up a bottle of wine while wearing headphone is just not all that.

    should we raise money for this essential hi-fi need? :P

    All awesome songs, and if you’re a huge fan of “Lazy Afternoon”, you absolutely HAVE to check out Grant Green’s “Idle Moments.’ The vibe is very similar; drifting along slowly, but not dragging along. Both are songs that seem to move almost effortlessly. If you have trouble finding it, let me know & I’ll get you a copy ;-) Oh, and I stumbled across your blog from tourfilter.com via the hype machine ( http://hype.non-standard.net )

The song makes its imprint
in the air, making itself felt,
a felt world. Here, there,
the stunned silence

of knowing I will not remember
what I heard;

futures that will never happen,
a fluidity we cannot achieve
except as a child
creating possibility.

This is the untranslatable song
hidden in the earth.
