    How fitting, I’m heading to Mozambique in a few days — maybe this playlist will entertain me for the first hour. I just wonder what I’ll do for the next 9 hours?

    Jack: I love reading during long flights… you may find it useful to bring magazines or short story collections, as a long plane flight can adversely affect your attention span. So you might want to stray away for complex tomes and just stick with “airplane rading” such as simple fiction or mysteries. Kahlo would recommend me Roald Dahl on my last trip and it was very effective… me most of the time I like sleeping ;)

    Anyhow, make sure to bring backup reading, in case you get restless or bored with the first book. If not here at the motel we have enough music in the archives to assure you a pleasant music companion for the 9 hour trip. :) Have a nice trip in Mozambique.

    Many greetings from Montpellier as well dirtyjazz. Seeking forward visiting Athens for a weekend around July and staying at “the rising cock” but it depends if I get a job in Spain. Hope I get there.

The song makes its imprint
in the air, making itself felt,
a felt world. Here, there,
the stunned silence

of knowing I will not remember
what I heard;

futures that will never happen,
a fluidity we cannot achieve
except as a child
creating possibility.

This is the untranslatable song
hidden in the earth.
