    It^s strange yesterday I had a dream where this post appeared but it was entitled “today” instead. I think i might spend too much time on the computer…

    About the songs they are great and uplfting, I got attracted instantly when i read “talking heads”, they^re one of my fvrite rock groups & that love potion 9 version seems to good to be true. It^s my first comment so wanted to thank you for all the effort you put on this site. I spend many good times in here, visit every two days and always find something that I like.

    Great list as always. Where on earth did you find that Shostakovich song? I wonder if the similarity to Kurt Weill and the german cabaret is coincidental. Would have been cool to have Brecht and Shostakovich work together. Well, only in our dreams… Anyway, love your blog, check here everyday and always something inspiring.

The song makes its imprint
in the air, making itself felt,
a felt world. Here, there,
the stunned silence

of knowing I will not remember
what I heard;

futures that will never happen,
a fluidity we cannot achieve
except as a child
creating possibility.

This is the untranslatable song
hidden in the earth.
