Shibuya-kei (渋谷系 Shibuya-style; also 渋谷系サウンド “Shibuya-kei sound”) is a variety of Japanese pop music which combines elements of jazz, fusion, traditional music, and other styles. Note: Let’s have some pop. Too much conceptual and abstract tracks makes my head explodes. Shibya-Kei. I thought it’s a charming pop style, mixing all known pop style for sole purpose of having bounchy beat as a soundtrack of Tokyo’s very famous shopping district. This list is a redo, with bunch of pop songs from all around the world, with funk, nu-jazz, etc. Something fun. It’s music for walking around downtown. Fun beat and happy melody. Enjoy.

    Shibuya (渋谷区, Shibuya-ku?) is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, Japan. As of 2005, it had an estimated population of 195,877 and a density of 12,960 persons per km². The total area is 15.11 km².

    The name “Shibuya” is also used to refer to the central business district of Shibuya Ward, which surrounds Shibuya Station, one of Tokyo’s busiest railway stations. Shibuya is known as one of the fashion centers of Japan, particularly for young people, and as a major nightlife area.
