For a while now however I’ve been feeling the urge to post some serious star-gazing psychedelic rock and drones again. So this marks the rebirth of the series and I have some really awesome stuff lying around for a handful of new instalments. First up is a selection of heavy grooving and hypnotizing monsters to get back into the rhythm again. This is the 1st heavy-artillery regiment recalibrating your psyche so you’d better be warned. Also a good choice is Slaapzucht on Root Strata which combines his Slaap and Zucht EPs, together with an extra track called Still. He only has one real album out so far, 'Marijn', which is very good but not his best work in my opinion. His best stuff is on the many EPs he has released over the last 4 years. My favourites are Bij Mirjam, Manchester, Stottermuziek, Zucht and Flotter. And also of course his collaboration with Aaron Martin. Some of them you can still order directly from him. For the remainder of this year there are still released planned on Foxy Digitalis, Kning Disk, a couple of self released EPs and his second full album in January on Lampse. And there I was thinking that Acid Mothers Temple was prolific... I would suggest starting with the recently released compilation Weleer on Lampse.
