I wake up wishing I could stay in bed for two more hours, thirsty for light & numbed by a starry hangover. But it’s exam week and off I go to university, coffee should taste sweeter in the morning. Back home, where the three-legged cat is trying to catch the unknown bird again, I drink the first glass of water of the day pretending it’s a big gin or vodka shot.

This one here is for days like these when the apathy monster pays a visit. Wishing I could have stayed home and vegged out all day listening to music. Some jazzy flourishes and warm acoustic sounds, the musical equivalent of a reassuring hug when you’re feeling drowsy and crabby.

    pobre moka, que no pudo quedarse en cama dos horas más… quizá fué mejor, de lo contrario, transcurridas las dos horas, hubieras deseado dos más… y asi…

    Thank you everyone, I’m just the sort of person who looks like hell when I don’t get enough sleep and I tend to become a big baby and overdramatic when it happens, sorry for that. It was a nice weekend I think I’m ready for Monday now. Hope the playlist works the same way it did for me.
    Nice cocorosie video sq.

The song makes its imprint
in the air, making itself felt,
a felt world. Here, there,
the stunned silence

of knowing I will not remember
what I heard;

futures that will never happen,
a fluidity we cannot achieve
except as a child
creating possibility.
