Troubled Waters

.

death as it shook you
you gave it a fool’s look
you said I am an empty page to you
give me your hand give me you blood
don’t misunderstand
I once had all the words
I forgot all the words
held the binding lightning
began to burn away
we began to burn away
held the binding the lightning
began to burn away

the body burns away
the body burns away
the body burns away

Note: Lullaby for the troubling event? I am trying to capture that strange melancholic moment of an event gone wrong. It seems psych folks is a great vehicles, with it’s song structure and ‘not quite’ minor blues. There is also intimacy in voice. A good folks song projects in whatever language it is sung, amazingly. This list is heavy on Damon and Naomi & friends, a Boston dream pop/psych folk duo.

Also, Oct. 4 is blog action day for Free Burma. (link up or help fill the wiki, specially if you have techy skill. Anon proxy/server specially. cheers.)

Boris with Michio Kurihara - Rainbow
(not much to see, an odd video. but has surprisingly good sonic for youtube. It’s the only Michio Kurihara video in youtube I can stand watching.)

Nice choice on the Kan Mikami track. Have you heard his latest album “Barking Practice” yet? It’s supposed to be quite good.
