NOTE: These tracks are my attempt to recreate the sounds that were playing through my head when pretending I was a Forest jaja! I actually got the idea of doing this small set (visual and musical) when listening to the new Interpol album Our Love The Admire and I misunderstood a line, I heard “I’m a Forest” when Paul actually says “I’m up for it”, but I think I like my version better. If I were a forest I’d like it to have sounds such as the ones on my short playlist… what sounds would you like for your forest?
Well, if I were a forest, I certainly wouldn’t be wearing a watch… That’s for sure. ;-)
I think I would prefer to be a forest with big old oaks, with deep resonating cello sounds making each passer-by sit down for a while and forget about time. Making them forget about the watch around their wrist…
Your forest is much sexier than mine though. No doubt about that. :P

Your forest is definitely more sexier than mine as well, sounds like a spy theme. I’m more in the vein of Bubba’s frame of mind, thinking a bit more pastoral and organic, like the thought of deep cello sounds stopping time.
