notes: A retro funk list. I am not sure where everybody is at the motel, but I am hijacking the stereo system. Incidentally, I find out if I make a late night list at the end of the day, it has more muted texture, not as jagged. So this is my mid week night mood. Radio friendly and all. This list has some surprise and overlooked 2007 albums. Ronderlin, has dream pop texture. Fiery Furnace, weird song structure as ever. And Beastie Boys last albums (major label alert).
