My blood is clean

When you pull it up
each blood vessel bursts,
in its version of the bends?
I ate it, twice.
I’ll eat it again.

That depends on what you think off as jazz, sq. I post it all the time.

Mmm I have to admit I’m not fond of this video for the faun fables song, wished they had added film footage of their own theatrical piece on which the album draws inspiration from.

The song is, by the way, an obscure cover from Souer Sourire (aka the singing nun) who apparently had a disco hit which I don’t think I’ve ever heard. You can hear a brief piece of the original “I’d like to be” sung in french, starting at 0:47 in this small documental before an idiot starts speaking on top of it:

wow, good catch! (how long did you surf the net to find that one? lol. But that melody is amazing.)

  6. squashed says:

PS. no you don’t post jazz ‘all the time’… lol. (Now I have to search the archive. I don’t think you ever post jazz before.)

  7. Moka says:

(ok I was lying I rarely post jazz but I know this is definitely not the first time and I’m rather unsure that this is precisely ‘jazzy’)

I’ve actually had that video on my bookmarks for a year or so, love the whole singing nun idea been looking for this particular version of the song on mp3 with no luck. (I’d be eternally grateful if any vouyerist around here has it and has the time to send it my way)

The song makes its imprint
in the air, making itself felt,
a felt world. Here, there,
the stunned silence

of knowing I will not remember
what I heard;

futures that will never happen,
a fluidity we cannot achieve
except as a child
creating possibility.

This is the untranslatable song
hidden in the earth.
