see, the trick is to find that “mood” using various genre. That’s what I was trying to do. Of course using UK bands would be much better. But I didn’t have time to do it right last night.

btw. I hate effing two steps and some garage. I thought they are a bit too shallow. There isn’t enough complexity to enjoy it after opening lick. (no….I don’t plan to listen more of them)

I’ll do another one, if there is enough suggestion …

I love your suggestions, ctel, yet I’ve been to London and I have to disagree with you, the urban soundscapes in there are way too diverse and globalized to even try to categorize and I think squashed’s idea of the sound of London is as valid as yours.

I could even suggest a playlist entirely based on reggae and latin cumbia and it would still be a honest portrait of London.
