I like going to the theatres very much. We went to the new Hsiao-hsien Hou last week called Le Voyage du Ballon Rouge / The Flight of the Red Balloon starring Juliette Binoche, an ode to the 1956 French short film Le Ballon Rouge / The Red Balloon. I really liked it, full of atmosphere, it breathed Paris in every shot, made me realize I need to go back there soon. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is: fuck torrents. I have 2046 on dvd but was a bit disappointed by it, probably my expectations were too high after In the Mood for Love.

So good! I believe this is one of my favorite valentine’s music post. A beautiful set of songs, a “seventh seal” quote & a still from one of my favorite movies! (Chungking Express is amazing as well, I think it’s Kahlo’s favorite film of all times) and I understand perfectly what you mean by “one of the most erotic films you’ve ever seen”, it’s such a perverse and sexually charged film in such subtle ways.

I still haven’t had any luck seeing “2046″ searched every movie corner in my city in the past couple of years with no luck… I suppose I’ll have to resort to the use of torrents against my will.
