note: A list about dread. Ever notice how an empty mall has that dreadful melancholy in it? The echoes the empty stores the sparse traffic and dim lighting? As a kid you really don’t understand what, but you could sense the malaise, almost fear. Something big is coming and this is not just another day. I thought if I dig my old collections and combine it in weird ways I can replicate the mood. Sort of bitter lost and slight resignation. K. I’ll compile album blurbs on comment section since all the albums are classic. Too lazy to do it right now. This is the beginning of more rock flavor posts.

The song makes its imprint
in the air, making itself felt,
a felt world. Here, there,
the stunned silence

of knowing I will not remember
what I heard;

futures that will never happen,
a fluidity we cannot achieve
except as a child
creating possibility.

This is the untranslatable song
hidden in the earth.
