They can find me
if they look;
i’ll be in the dark pub
drowning the thoughts of
a love now lost.
They can find me
if they want,
but they really shouldn’t;
since they cannot
bring me a pain
that I haven’t already felt.
They can talk
to my nickel-plated nine
and hear it roar in reply.
What an excellent playlist!
I downloaded this one quite a while back but I was looking over your archives again and thought I’d mention something. All your playlists are great, but this one in particular flows so perfectly, and I discovered a few artists that I now love thanks to it.
Keep up the amazing work!
Hey Maria,
Thanks for letting me know. I was very careful trying to keep the flow of this one since I used this exact playlist ‘djing’ on one of my best friend parties, it was a very fun night. I was drafting a second part at the time but I thought it wasn’t so well-received by the readers of the motel and I erased it. Might as well bring that project back now that I cant think of anything concrete to post :P
This is awesome!
This is when everybody was doing funk stuff. I think there are several funk type of lists around that time of the year.
hot damn what a perfect soundtrack it would be! I know this post is old and you probably won’t ever see this, but I’m your newest fan. thanks!
