It's a heinous law that will effectively bankrupt small venues (like The Empty Bottle, for instance) in the name of so-called security. Even if you don't live in Chicago, you know and support a band that wants to tour there. What this ordinance will do is essentially make that an impossibility, because there will be no underground, independent live music. Please consider, and then sign. Thanks.
