This blog is fantastic.
The photos are brilliant, the text interesting and it's always so well tied together with the music

Love that Eluvium track - almost makes me want to cry

Keep up the great work

What a beautiful, insightful and informative post. I was not familiar at all with Sudek, but your post has managed to interest me in his photography and the book you recommend is definitely going on to my wish-list.

I find the quote you used, about another art form very interesting. You mentioned he was deeply engrossed in the relationship between light and shadow. I almost sometimes feel that minimalism is doing exactly the same thing, making shadow all the more brighter whilst making light all the more darker.

A fantastic post.

Almost everyday, in Santa Croce in Gerusalemme (http://www.basilicasantacroce.com/basilica.aspx), you can ear live gregorian chants performed by dominican monks. This was my church when I lived in Rome. It's difficult to attend a mess when it take 1 hour and half to end... expecially when the sun shines outside, belive me.
