Columbine takes off her clothes
looks at her body in the pool
A charlatan out of the dusk
praises the tricks to be performed
The sky is colorless and set
with constellations pale as milk

Third and final installment of the star-crossed lovers project. With this last one I’m going for darker overtones and smoky beats, trying to form a sound in between magic and nostalgia. Compared to the other two parts which I feel sound good both at dawn and dusk, I feel this one should solely be played at night or on rainy days. hope you enjoy.

this is amazing. perfect.
Fantastic! I’ve been a big Air fan for a long time and continue to be. The music video from the Virgin Suicides continues to be one of my favorites.
Stopping by to show some love to a fellow music lover. I admire and am inspired by lovers of music…especially those artists willing to step outside the mainstream and remain true to themselves. Stop by and visit sometime.
Much respect to you and best regards,

Nine Horses-Wonderful World: was that song a tribute to the day the world trade towers were struck down?
The lyrics seem to portray the thoughts a person might have during that time from all perspectives-on the planes, on the ground looking up, in the office looking down before the plunge, at home coping with loss.
What a song.
I know I’m late on this entry but I couldn’t help not post a comment.
Yes, it is Chris, you have some good ears. David Sylvian has a heavy fixation with the political situation in post-9/11. In 2004 with Ryuichi Sakamoto, he recorded the song World Citizen which is also influenced by 9/11 and both this song and ‘atom and cell’ from the nine horses project are directed towards the world leaders excuses they manage to find for their hatred and war.
It’s a very good song, Arve Henriksen’s performance is beautiful as usual. I’d also recommend you to listen to ‘the librarian’ off the same album, it’s one of my favorites off of that one, it is exquisitely paced, oh and it features Jaki Liebezeit (from Can fame) on drums.
