i usally enjoy most of the playlists, but this one…aldough Ray is right,(i’m portuguese btw)this playlist has somthing ..reminds me of when i went to Barcelona last summer, jumping from one bar to another at Raval..warm nights, latin tastes and sounds..this songs really have soul.

yeah Chainho probably is the odd one, but it makes a nice opening lick. I love it. Probably from all track, Bajofondo would be the only electronic/mix sampling one. Tempo trio, I thought it’s an interesting bridge between jazz and brazillian feel Gonzales is doing. A quick play. Admitedly I could have pick more obvious tracks from classics blue notes. But was too lazy to dig.

But it is true the list is not completely in latin mode and cuban beat. Think ofit more as clone of Fredico Aubele’s Pan Americana down tempo album.
