Hi MdM people
I've been following your blog for ages now and I'd like to pass on the Kreativ Blogger award - it's a little daft thing passed on to me but if you'd like to accept it, please head to the Award Tour II post on my blog to download the graphic. I think you comps are always class and you've got a real feel for atmosphere and texture - something missing from so many other music blogs.
Keep it up, SP

Ohhhuuuu... what a great playlist... a great mix.
You choosed a perfect image too...

"The Sour" plays in my deep inside. Few notes can make a struggling mood. Electonics insertions to wake you up with a slap, just to let you fall asleep again...
I want to explore Peder's production.

You missed human contact, I missed your presence here in the motel.

Take care,
Ciao :)

KO: I agree that the media has given way too much attention to the swine flu, in the meantime this smoke curtain has allowed the Mexican senate to aprove a number of laws that they could've otherwise found a certain opposition.

Perhaps I'm awfully wrong but empirically speaking I think the international media is mostly interested on issues that propose a threat to the nation. Something that could affect their economies and their citizens.

Genocides in the third world aren't communicable to other countries and do not present a direct economical threat to the first world, therefore they are more likely to be ignored and silenced. If the Rwandan genocide had been covered in its time as much as the swine flu has, the resulting public outrage would require an act of coercion from the first world countries, and I guess cross-politics are a heavy annoyance to governments in the first world, specially when there's no opportunity of big money involved.

In the particular case of the Rwandan genocide, France was supporting the Hutus, so you can tell they were pretty concerned about keeping things as quiet as possible and for unknown reasons the United States government was also constantly impairing public awareness and took no overt action at the beginning of the genocide, even when they were fully aware of what was happening and knew exactly who was leading the genocide. They even lobbied the UN for a withdrawal of all their troops from Rwanda.
