Sidenote: Ello again motel dwellers. I’ve been away for awhile, balancing on the proverbial precipice — graduating and celebrating the climactic-in-its-own-way 22nd birthday. Now I’m back — to basics. There’s no definitive theme here, just a quick list of what this May Baby hears when her month in ’09 comes to mind.

I’ve actually just got a mild C&D letter asking to take down the lilly allen from post and server. I suspect they’ve got some sort of robot scanning our files, everything’s been solved for now, I think. Will be writing some emails to dreamhost asking about our stance.

  4. ah my bad. sorry about that Moka, mea culpa. let me know what the sitch is when you find out.

  5. squashed says:

just take it down or replace it with something else. Erase the title/song/album completely from the entry. Just so the sniffer doesn’t keep searching for our site.

I’ll replace it with something else. (making a list right now.)

  6. Moka says:

Nah dont worry, it’s not the C&D what worries me but the quick notice. Normally it takes them weeks, which leds me to believe were being watched.

Everybody wave hello to the sir with the stern look, kids!

  7. galih says:

hey can you re – post the lily allen becuase i dont have it yet. I just search it and desperate with that. please

  8. squashed says:

It is removed by request of record company. You might want to wait few more weeks, if not searching the net again. It’s out there.

  9. sorry for the delay galih, but if you haven’t heard the track yet here’s a link …

The song makes its imprint
in the air, making itself felt,
a felt world. Here, there,
the stunned silence

of knowing I will not remember
what I heard;

futures that will never happen,
a fluidity we cannot achieve
except as a child
creating possibility.

This is the untranslatable song
hidden in the earth.
