Naive Melody

The fact there is massive social repression that has an enormous
effect on desiring-production in no way vitiates our principle: desire
produces reality, or stated another way, desiring-production is one and
the same thing as social production. It is not possible to attribute a
special form of existence to desire, a mental or psychic reality that is
presumably different from the material reality of social production. - Deleuze and Guattari. Capitalism and Schizophrenia. pp.30.

    Dear Moka,

ThanQ for introducing me to Trans Am!
My special interest in them was triggered by them being label mates of Tortoise; a great post rock/avant garde/jazz rock/whatever band.
I don’t like Trans Am’s bandname (don’t know why… perhaps it sounds too ‘American’) but I LOVE their music. Some of it sounds even like the first couple of albums of the Simple Minds (when they were still nice).
I’ve downloaded some of their stuff and it’s definitively worth buying (if I can find it).
And they are so ‘PC’ (just like Tortoise btw).

The other songs are nice as well.

    Cheers!

Hey Moka, great post as always - bit confused though because in my library that Joy Division track is listed as 24 hours - has my computer mixed them up when ripping from the cd?
