This one ended up all over the place as I started running out of space in the list. Some weird style contrast for sure; opens with warm-bellied psychedelic pop and closes with robotic new-wave. Of course I couldn’t find a way to make them work together. It’s barely works if you really take each section as separate playlists.
Seems to me it took forever to compile and publish this list so I’m feeling a great relief now that it’s finally over. Back to the sweet and tidy motel routine at last. It’s been a really fun exercise, tho. Hope you’ve enjoyed the series as much as I did compiling them.

    Best. Finale. Ever.

    Seriously, bravo.

  4. Ruben says:

Hauschka! If anyone gets a chance to see him live, do it. You won’t regret it. It’s fun watching that man use a variety of gadgets to create sounds from his piano.

Beautiful. Couldn’t have done it better myself. I Stand Corrected is definitely an underrated track of Vampire Weekend’s (probably because every track their first album was SO good..if you’re in love with VW you definitely need to visit http://mybandstock.com/) Unexpected Spoon choice too, but a good one! :->

  6. Stuiee says:

Wonderful work you do. Re the 200 track series, echo of David K. Thank you so much-we really enjoy your choices here in California. Where’d you get the interesting blog name?

    Please don’t stop. Bravo.

Thanks for this series. Really great. But I’m having trouble d/l The Kills and Legowelt.

  8. Moka says:

Thank you everyone and sorry for taking so much time for publishing this, really glad to know you like it.

Eclip: Eit, gracias, eres quien yo creo?

Stuiee: Just a random combination of two of my favorite things :)

SaoJoaoPreto: Oops, sorry, didn’t realize there was a problem with the filenames. Should be working now. Thanks for the heads up.

Great music blog!! I especially like the rgb set.

One suggestion, can we get a little more soul? I challenge you to find some more upbeat gems. Don’t be afraid of disco either.

Deberías de escribir de nuevo en español, se lo debes a quien te leemos desde latinoamérica.

  13. Belle Du Jour says:

Beautiful, I’ve been listening to this playlist on repeat

  14. jungle says:

    You finally did it Mokita…
During all this time i missed your unattended posts, where you reveal your current mood and mind state, your life’s events and make us feel one of your best friends.

I also think that the blog needs some male music to play with yours…

In Italia, in Italia…. la gente è troppo occupata a pensare a sè stessa, invece qui c’è gente che pensando a far felici gli altri fa la sua stessa fortuna

    Thank you very much M.

Have you seen the MGMT video for “Flash Delirium”??! It’s insane!! Watch it: http://www.whoismgmt.com

thanks again for all these tracks. dungen and bot.ox really made my day.

/OT (sorry moka if i’ve abused of this space)

  17. Chixdiggit says:

I love Blue Steel. Really wish they didn’t allow McDonalds to put a “ba da ba ba ba…I’m lovin’ it!” at the end of the song.
    That’s all I hear now.

  18. Eclip says:

Mucho tiempo después pero sí, soy quien tu crees.

The song makes its imprint
in the air, making itself felt,
a felt world. Here, there,
the stunned silence

of knowing I will not remember
what I heard;

futures that will never happen,
a fluidity we cannot achieve
except as a child
creating possibility.

This is the untranslatable song
hidden in the earth.
